Made it through my first semester of architecture school, and didn’t do too badly!
Decided at the end of November that I need to move because my roommates are mega slobs, and at the last moment I went to view two posh apartments (especially compared to my house that has horrible water pressure, a dryer that doesn’t automatically turn off, and only 2 working stove burners) and was accepted at the best one on that day! Just enough time to submit my move out notice. Now I’m wayyy too excited to move, but not looking forward to the utilities bill my roommate’s going to slap me with because he never bothered charging me for the whole year and a half I’ve lived there.
Trying to get into the Christmas spirit by going to get my photo taken with Krampus at a local brewery, and viewed a really funny Christmas play/musical sorta thing. There were only 7 of us in the audience so it was a little awkward, but nonetheless still a good show.
There was a really huge windstorm here that did a fair bit of damage. It knocked out our power and when I went to the car to drive to the coffee shop to use their internet, I could hear massive trees crashing down as branches blew off the trees onto my car. Not fun, but at least the only damage in the neighbourhood is a beached sailboat.
The wind blew good fortune my way, in the form of a $5 bill in a puddle!
